These therapeutic boots are about 8 inches tall (measured from the bottom of the sole up to the top of the boot collar). The Mt. Emey 504 model itself does not come with a composite toe. It’s designed as a therapeutic/supra-depth comfort boot to accommodate orthotics and foot conditions, not as a safety toe boot. If you need composite toe protection, Apis offers other boots in the lineup that include that feature — for example the Apis Mt. Emey 6506 work boot, which is an 8″ composite-toe boot meeting typical impact/compression safety standards.
