Systems like wool or thin orthotic insoles take up some internal volume. That means the slipper can feel snugger — especially at the toe and top of foot — once the insole is in place.

Sizing up by a half size is a good idea if:
• You plan to use a fairly thick insole,
• You like more toe room, or
• You normally wear thicker socks inside slippers. -
Stick with your normal size if:
• Your insoles are very thin / minimal,
• You prefer a closer, snug fit, and
• You usually wear them barefoot or with thin socks (which is how Glerups are designed to be worn). (Aktiv)
