Are the soles grippy on smooth surfaces? I read that Spenco changed their sole from rubber to synthetic material.

Spenco men's sandals are comfortable and supportive for casual wear, offering excellent cushioning and arch support. However, don’t expect outstanding traction on very smooth or slippery surfaces—especially when wet—so take care if you plan to wear Spenco sandals in those conditions.
